Deck theory for cunning aggro / Discard (Ideal scenario):

You've loaded up Jyn with Ammo Belt, Thermal Detonator and Lone operative, It's taken a few rounds.. we're down but were not out, we've suffered 50% damage...we've healed Jyn as the lone operative specials have come our way, we've resolved the occasional 2 ranged damage roll that's come in on Jyn's Dice.. hopefully we've discarded their hand each round till now due to jyn's discard sides aswell..this has left the opposition frustrated because they have not managed to get down as many upgrades as they like, and they are left to resolve there initial dice rolls, we've milled the hand.. they can't discard to reroll.. We've resolved a few resource sides that have come our way... but anyway, they think they are facing your average mill deck..well..here comes the death punch.. Now if you've hit the cunning special we are in luck. If not, hopefully we've hit a focus off of padme's die. If not; discard to reroll, Use the focus to get the cunning die to the special and the thermal to the special.

Resolve the cunning die as if it is the thermal detonators special.. 3 damage to each character. This discards ammo belt.. Then we trigger the special on the thermal detonator and then BOOM, another 3 damage to EACH character.

We've just delt 6 damage to EACH opponents opposing character.

This is through one character.. Now imagine if Padme had an ammo belt, cunning and a thermal detonator!

I've yet to play a game where I've managed to get a thermal/cunning/ammo belt on both characters.. but boy when that cunning special comes in it takes your opposition by surprise.

I thinking cunning is one of the most underutilized cards in the game right now..

ANYWAY the above is relative fantasy, that's your ideal scenario..

Key Cards and why:

Cunning - Resolve the special on Thermal, Hopefully ammo belt is in play so you get to hit this twice.. Alternatively, this is a good way to utilise Lone operative to heal additional health.

Second chance - 'Nuff said

DL-44 Heavy - The best blaster in the game.. Ambush/dice removal and great damage sides! it's a must for any yellow hero deck. If the mill game isn't coming on strong, two of these bad boys on Jyn with Jyn's native 2 x 2 ranged damage sides could on the sweet roll net you 10 damage in one round.

Don't get cocky - In a round where you've utilized Jyn's mill sides, they are out of cards, Play this - discard their hand again with either the two discard sides on lone operative or Padme. Get through that deck quicker.

Draw attention - People are going straight for Jyn. This will help move that damage to padme. Second chance and lone operative special makes Jyn a nightmare to get rid.

Planned explosion - Only one copy, as I feel when you've had that roll and it's a hotch potch of cards and your not sure which way to go with it... BOOM ( Explosion) 10 damage. (In your face FN-2199!)

Rebel - Rebel is lush for picking up upgrades you've previously discarded to re-roll in the first round or two.. decrease the cost.. Lone operative for 2? Second chance for 2? I'll take it.. all day long.

Let the wookie win, loth cat, scramble, unpredictable, electroshock - your typical auto-include dice mitigation.. Yello hero is lacking in dice mitigation, play them when your holding, don't discard to re-roll. SUPPORT -

Double Dealing - This decks built on special's! - Said Jyn..never.

Just wanted to add, this deck is highly situational and I'm not for one second implying this is the deck of all decks. It's fun to play, and that's what this game is about.
