Book 1394

Haven't played in months-- in spite of buying a case of each set. Decided to put this together on a lazy Sunday and it's not lost a game yet--not even close. Now, I by no means am stating this is "the way," but shiitake on a shingle, this thing can dole out punishing volumes of damage and wriggle out of tight spots when needed.

Our characters have a consistent goal: cheat stuff into play. If not that, shoot stuff. If not that, then they need a stern talking-to.

So, yeah, it's a support deck with a bunch of vehicles. It only touts four, that's right FOUR, upgrades. I did try Natural Pilot, but it is not convincing me--esp at this cost.

Thank Zeus for cheap cars that fly, such as T-47 Airspeeder and Y-Wing. These help to round out the curve, providing us with a duo of vehicles from 2-5 resources. Ghost and U-Wing are obviously great with Reckless Reentry--which is a second cheat roll, like Strategic Planning. Shoot folks, use your cool specials, grab shields, apply immediate pressure with disrupt on the back of fun stuff like Lead by Example, Hit and Run, and Partnership.

The removal suite is scarce, but it works nonetheless:

Honor Guard is nutty, and pairs well with Lead by Example and Partnership--roll and remove. Our battlefield allows for shenanigans with this particular card.

Pinned Down is obviously great.

Rally Aid is a nice little tool for the deck, esp when your hand gets low enough that you can utilize it. Pair this with Logistics and you have some nice additional resource production.

It's all pretty straightforward and fun. Hope you enjoy!
