This my current version of 5 die villain. Even though the cost spread isn't the best for Talzin's ability compared to other decks i found having answers for when Talzin didn't hit her ability was better than having odd cards that felt sub-par. Built it to be played as a tempo deck, that can resolve damage currently not showing before your opponent can react

With three character it allowed me to slow play with FOST to turn on HDLY and keep flank up if needed and at the same time try to deal my damage in a way that my opponents mitigation wouldn't be active.

I feel this deck did good vs the field because it can adjust for the match-up. Alot of decks rely on there "engine" character (Yoda/aalya/Talzin). depending on how my opponent spends there opening resources they were my first target usually. keeping a frighten or hidden blaster felt good. my goal turn one is to try to get at lest 5 damage and set-up for the kill turn 2 by going first. may time i will forgo added an 2nd 2 cost weapon turn 2 to save money for a tactical master on to activate after one of my other character are rolled out. Then have the other resource free for frighten or all-in.

The one card that will probably get cut is price of failure, always felt bad to draw and dose not work with Talzin's ability. Space would probably go for another backup muscle or Free for all.

only upgrade i might try to fit in is crystal ball, Focus for all in/Tactical and helps give deck knowledge and Talzin's ability. not sure what i would cut for that tho

Have you considered Dark Counsel?

@the BEAST I did, but it clunky in testing. I never wanted it early and by the mid game I felt the 1 cost events with imidiate impacts we're more worth the spot. Plus I'd play Crystal Ball over it for guaranteed knowledge of the top of either deck, more of a playstyle choice. Does play nice with All In tho.
