Nute works perfect for my play style. Him rolling out his 2 disrupt is basically the best thing that can happen with his die. The deck plays slow so any super aggressive deck will take quite a bit of work to defeat but still very possible. Palp's saber is just so amazingly good for ramping when he has two abilities on him. Dont sleep on Palp's 2 shield side.
If Nute isnt your thing, Mud trooper works, as does Imperial Death Trooper. I even tried Gredo and Phasma! Take your pick! Though the guardian ability of the Pyke can come in VERY handy.
