This is a variation of Luke/Ackbar that I'm hoping will perform a little better and keep Luke alive longer to defeat the opponent's characters. Tiny Grimes and others have noted that Luke/Ackbar is a tier 2 deck (not one of the best) due to the fact that if Luke dies Ackbar can't contribute much on his own. With this variant I hope to boost the good Fishman's efforts by utilizing his game text more often. To wit, I have included 4 cards aimed at making the opponent discard more than they normally would. Scoutis an efficient upgrade either for Ackbar or Luke himself that can give you more options (another Focus!) and has two special sides that can help decrease your opponent's hand. More than that, though, Scout also lets you look at your opponent's hand and helps inform your play for the rest of that round. You'll know if you need to resolve dice quickly because they have a cool mitigation card ready to go or if you can take your time. You'll see if they have a great blue ability to swap in with their Sith Holocronand can play accordingly. Also included now is Close Quarters Assault - a card that should work well with Luke's focus on the melee damage type and Ackbar's desire to empty the opponent's hand!
