4-1 in a 5 round swiss tournament. 28 players came in and this deck made it to the final table.

Sadly it was destroyed by poe-maz.

What makes Obi-Van better than Qui-Gon Jin ?

people tend to focus rey first when you have obi juan

This deck seems to have a lot of high cost cards that clog the hand. Do you discard a lot of upgrades for re-rolls? Rey seems so inconsistent with it as well.

@michaelius peronally it feels like two different types of play-styles. I love having 4 dice with qui-gon rey, but with the meta out here I wanted a hard counter to palp. Also the dice and obi are so strong especially combining them with my ally is the force.

@aesopsphere with the play i have seen using this deck, I have seen people go for both. Some players will focus obi due to the guardian ability. I would say its 50/50 from what I have seen.

@UnNerv3d surprisingly the deck flows very well. With the help of the supports and destiny I have had very little issues getting out upgrades. But there are times where I will get no upgrades in my starting hand and that will makes the match a bit harder. Luckily I was still able to get the WIN.

Just here to say I love the deck name. Cheers

All the Hero force decks flow well. They just don't deal the damage needed to compete. Secondly, the whole remove Rey's crappy dice to play events know matter how good they are is just not fast enough to work before Rey dies. You remove Rey's dice to give (insert Hero/Jedi) stuff in round 1, right? You get one character's worth of damage out afterwords. Rey dies in round 2 and you never get more than 1 character's worth of damage off the whole game. Now you are facing some two dice power house from your opponent and their support character is still alive as well.

This is way all my Force hero decks now reside in the binder until they can compete.

Let's face someone at FFG's either hates Jedi or they love the quick and easy path to the Dark Side!

Sorry for the typos. Still trying to find a way to fix after I submit. Probably should be more careful before hand.

jgarza0072001 383

@DJRAZZ I didn't have any of those issues. I was averaging on low end 5 damage a turn and highest a turn was 14 damage. On average I was 8-10 so I would have to disagree that this deck doesn't deal enough damage.

That cool. I guess I played some really hard decks. And I have not played Obi yet.
