This is inspired by Boigne Guerric's deck that went 6-0 at the Standard event at the Paris Galactic Qualifier. You can read his in-depth deck analysis here: http://yourdestiny.dk/blog/ec-3p0aaylaanakinyoungling-deck-analysis

That deck is no longer legal because of the points change to 3po, but I still LOVE Aayla's value and am constantly trying ways to build around her. So I took Aayla/3po/droids support suite from Boigne's deck, and dropped Anakin and the Youngling. Anakin was there because of his synergy with droid dice (and access to yellow); youngling was in there because he made supports cheaper, and added a fourth character to make Diplomatic Protection's value even higher.

In their places I've put Outer Rim Outlaw. He keeps access to yellow, plus adds a power action that serves as both a quasi-mitigation and quasi-focus (which is in some cases worse than Anakin, but in others better). I've also considered running a single die Anakin with an elite Aayla instead of the Outlaw. With the Outlaw version I'm running Theed Palace because of his synergy with it (as a neutral character). If I did Anakin and eAayla I'd do Canto Bight (like Boigne did) as I'd have high percentages of success with 3po and Anakin's dice mostly being 1-sides.

Another change I've made from Boigne's deck is reducing the number of cards that require me to exhaust characters as a payment. I no longer have an Anakin and Youngling sitting around for that purpose. I also made the upgrade package a little cheaper. Less 3 cost upgrades, more 2 cost upgrades. This is necessary because of the loss of Youngling.

The deck still has the awesome support droids (R2, Bones, and LR-57) searched out with Mechanical Insight (which can and should be played with Outer Rim's Power Action). The deck also still has lots of mitigation and healing. There are 8 mitigation cards in addition to Aayla's special and the Outlaw's Power Action. For healing there are 9 cards that heal or give shields, not counting 3po's ability to resolve shield sides for additional value.

The card I'm most hesitant about is the Diplomatic Protection. It has lost a lot of value now that the deck has gone from a 4-wide to a 3-wide. I'm tempted to swap it out for Riot Shield instead. I currently left it in as another way to trigger the Outlaw's ability; but only playtesting will tell if it needs to change.
