im suprised you didnt play the e-11 blaster for more redeploy lol...just opened my box and pulled rex and his blaster also pulled rex from sealed so definitely gonna play with him. thought about keeping it thematic and interesting to use medical center so youll always keep your opponent from using the claim ability while healing your clones lol

Fort Anaxes - Anaxes would probably be the better Battlefield. Because of Rex, as soon as you activate him, you have it on your side of the field, BEFORE he's activated, so for that first activation, you also guarantee you have Guardian, thus allowing you to disrupt your opponent's first activation by taking out their one of their non-modifier damage dice, preventing them from using modifiers if any. If you're not in a situation where that matters, then you can simply save the Guardian effects for the Clone Troopers to protect Rex.

Of course, if you also happen to have both Wingman out, then it doesn't matter, cause you just use Rex to get the Battlefield and Wingman to use the Clone Troopers as shields. No matter what, it's a better Battlefield than Bendu's Lair - Atollon for this deck.

I guess playing it like phasma1 guardian is nice but youll need to have the battlefield and playing tempo becomes difficult without a lot of redeploys on your clones.

@djlee I prefer A280 and Holdout over E-11. They have both 50% ranged damage and are useful for ligth them up and fortuitous strike. About Medical Center, it is a great idea! I didn't think about that.

@adran06 That choice of battlefield Fort Anaxes - Anaxes is great! I didn't think about it neither. For sure increase the survavility of Rex. And it would be very useful in a more balance or control focus deck.

However, what I am trying to do with this deck is being aggressive and do action cheating most of the time. Hit and Run and Wingman or Rex - Clone Captain are a great combo. The same about Swiftness and Grand Entrance, Fortuitous Strike and even Ligth 'Em Up.

So I couldn't be using guardian at his fully potential regularly, because I would need to activate the clones simultaneously and quickly many times, sometimes even when my oponent hasn't even rolled damage. However, Guardian would still be very good in the rounds when you don't have any of the mentioned action cheatings cards and there is no hurry.

At the end in this deck the map it would be a hard choice: An extra die every turn or the possibility to use Guardian, although not everytime and only with a part of his fully potential?

I disagree adamantly with utilizing Fort Anaxes - Anaxes as it doesn't provide any value beyond spreading damage between your characters. Instead of guardianing the damage, I would much rather mitigate it. Also, consistently being able to use the Bendu's Lair - Atollon die proves invaluable early and late game, as it is functionally a strong fifth character die or a way to regain initiative at the start of every turn. All of the decks that have performed well in competition have either used the vehicle battlefield Weapons Factory Alpha - Cymoon 1 or Bendu's Lair - Atollon, thus I have to say that @VillainRed made the right choice in this mono red build.
