The important difference about this deck is no Riposte.
There are basically 2 ways to play this deck.
1) Fling all shields all the time, go full AGGRO.
2) Use shield to stem the bleeding on someone taking damage, while dealing damage with dice from both characters.
Obviously, I prefer 2 and I've rarely found Riposte useful in this play style. It's true I'm not maxing out the potential of QGJs ability, but you don't need to make full use of it for it to be good, his dice already do work.
