I think this can compete as one of the top hero discard decks...it is less glass cannon than ePadme eAckbar and more discard than mono-blues. It also can dish out significant damage w/ a lot of resources available.
Comparing the gains of having no Padme...

...hoping these outweigh the lack of her dice/special.
I know it's much less common with this team; however, the power when it lands (or when you focus) is too great to cut from the deck.
You may have to sacrifice resolving some dice (or several) if you are looking to claim to use. This removal is too powerful...it can prolong the game for a discard victory. It works well w/ [ Patience ] and/or [ All In ] which usually can be followed w/ a claim.
