This was inspired by Sabines Pilot deck by Batty76 orignally.

After a number of games I found some holes, and learnt how to play how I preferred. I only have one Sabine, which is why I run with Poe, but I am enjoying the deck and it definitely scares people.

Obviously this will never be the best Sabine deck with only 1 Die Sabine, but Poe makes a great companion, able to fix dice and provide shields or be a major threat on his own with weapons.

It has the typical Sabine combo or Running Interferenceand Never Tell Me The Odds to get major damage off without letting your opponent mitigate. I also play Hit & Run to get all the dice out ambushing Poe in, then Sabine with an Ambush from the discard, fix and resolve.

One card that I haven't seen in the Sabine decks is Planned Explosion and I am not sure why. It is free and if you have rolled in your dice, showing Sabines 3 Disrupt and Modified sides or Cost sides without any resources it is a good way of getting guaranteed damage before mitigation, especially if you have ambushed the dice in. People don't like to mitigate dice which they think you don't want to resolve, or can't resolve. Planned Explosion makes that work for you and can knock out a lot of key characters or drop them into the red.

Cargo Hold - Eravana is there for moving either your own weapons around to ensure Poe has some before Sabine goes down, or messing with an opponents and moving them onto your target before the KO next round. This battlefield is great because it makes no odds to you if your opponent claims and moves any of your upgrades as both characters benefit greatly from them. Lastly, this also allows Second Chance to be played onto Poe if he becomes the early target, leaving Sabine with three slots.

Chance Cube is there for the resource and to help with mill (though mill hates this deck anyway). The weapons are pretty standard, all ambush all the time. Thermal Detonator is there because the special is brutal though is very much not needed, it does help with the three (or higher) character teams.

The rest of the cards are cheap or free mitigation to ensure resources can go where needed.

I would say have two Second Chances? I think Truce or Well-Connected would be better than Smuggling. Loth-Cat and Mouse is also good cheap dice removal.

@RazelllI was running Truce, but felt that Smuggling was better. It lets me get a weapon into the discard to play from there.

I only play one Second Chance due to rarely ever having the need to play two. Usually, the game is won or lost before the first one comes out. Even if Sabine goes down, Poe Dameron - More Than A Pilot is a huge threat with weapons on him. Also I don't know what could be dropped for a second.

I did play with Loth-Cat and Mouse for a while but found that most of my Dice would already be resolved or not something I wanted the opponent to remove.

I agree Well-Connected is a really good card, and I am tempted to include it, not sure what to drop for it as any weapons misses the sweet spot I have found, but any mitigation runs the risk of that being too low.

All that said, I have tweaked and dropped one Never Tell Me The Odds for Hyperspace Jump and the two Easy Pickings for Quick Draw.

Dropping Easy Pickings could be a really bad play, but if I get Quick Draw and Hit and Run I can activate both Characters, equip two weapons to Sabine Wren - Explosives Expert and still have two actions left.
