I've got a deck similar to this one, and it works quite nicely. :)
You might want to consider putting in some more potent Yellow events into your deck to make the most of the Falcon's special if you roll it. You might also like Commando Raid in conjunction with Ackbar's ability and die.
As for upgrades, have you toyed around with Jetpack? It's insanely good when you have a focus or two to spare, and Elite Ackbar rolls them about 1 in every 3 activations. Hunker Down's pretty good too.
