Experimental Casual Pet Project.
The general idea is to start out by equipping Wookiee Warrior with an Electrostaff or by putting Promotion on K-2SO - Reprogrammed Droid. If the Wookie gets low first, swap in an A280 Blaster Rifle and prepare to Redeploy onto K-2 for the bonus activation.
If your opponent targets K-2SO - Reprogrammed Droid first, (more likely,) use Impersonate to shift around damage and Field Medic to keep folks out of the red zone. At its absolute best, Impersonate can be a nine damage heal for K-2SO and might also set up a redeploy from the Wookie to trigger K-2's reactivation ability.
C-3PO works best with Chopper or Lone Operative to provide either die removal through Chopper's special or Healing from Lone Operative. 3PO can help squeeze out resources or shield in a pinch if necessary, but there aren't a lot of good non-damage sides to "translate" except for maybe the 2 on Lone Operative or the 2 on Maz's Goggles
Promotion is mostly for ramp, but also gives that nice bonus card draw and has a convenient side. Maz's Goggles also provides and can be played on either of your characters, (provided that your Wookie is still around to Spot.)
Rebel is best played into It's a Trap! if possible, but is pretty situational. The deck has sides on all of its character dice and nearly half of its upgrades, but the recursion isn't as consistent as I'd like.
The combo to build up to in this deck is to hopefully surprise an opponent with It's a Trap!. In a perfect scenario, the deck can dish out 14 with six red dice.
Even if K-2 dies first, his fuzzy buddy can still dish out a lot of damage. Ideally you're redirecting onto the wookie while K-2 does his work, (You can get up to 6 for 0 resource if the Wookiee Warrior and Electrostaff roll out properly,) so it's still possible to win even if your droid disintegrates!
Consider swapping in: Medical Droid, Rey's Staff, more die removal, additional copy of C-3PO, Endurance, Close Quarters Assault, Hidden Agenda + Reversal, Mobilize, or some other expensive events, additional Redeploy (???)
Consdering removing: Partnership. (It's ideal play is to roll in a character with Lone Operative and C-3PO together, then pay 1 for a guaranteed heal, but it hasn't happened often enough for my taste yet. Rend is also great sometimes, but dead other times.
